THE EMERGENCE

BUMP & MAMAS UK was founded in 2021, North London, Harrow.

Tre'maine Mahalia the young entrepreneur, business woman, wife and mother spent her younger years having a natural care and regard for others. She had graduated from University of Staffordshire, Wolverhampton and The Open University with Masters and BA Hons in Law, Criminology and Criminal Justice. Tre'maine continued to pursue professional development in Social Services, Child Protection and Children Services as well as helping women psychologically and mentally recover from Domestic Violence through 1-2-1 coaching sessions and reflection.

Tre'maine has cultivated her experience into maternity as well as having Coaching and Wellness accreditation. She had understood prevalence of home structure, effective parenting and positive  mental health.

Fast forward Tre'maine had her first son in 2022 and then two consecutive sons in 2023 and 2025.

The awakening happened when Tre'maine had struggled to find new mom communities for first time moms! She often felt '' like a fish out of water''. She stated ''all the women were experienced moms, 3rd time moms and fourth times mom, all I wanted to do was connect with someone on the same journey as me''. Although she appreciated wisdom and advice from experienced mothers, Tre'maine still felt isolated.

​Tre'maine went on to state ''I would find myself having so many tabs open on the internet, different maternity store's, different websites about being a first time mom, I craved a platform which gave me everything under one community''!  She would often crave everything from 1-2-1 supportive coaching to guidance on essentials for first time moms, to reduce anxiety.

Fast forward, Tre'maine is now a mom of three boys, having experienced two under one, two under two and three under three, she had learnt the necessary  mental tools to survive and thrive! 

She had gone through the highs and lows, including PPD, no support network, no plan and no coaching. Tremaine stated '' I am so happy that we are now providing a service all moms can benefit from to enhance their Mental- Wellbeing throughout Motherhood''.
