Hey Mama.
From our recent webinar a few moms have spoken about negative words and noise from family members, friends and even strangers during pregnancy!
Its hard to understand that why would someone chose a time like this to pose negative thoughts?
What I have understood is that , although we assume and feel our flesh and blood, family and friends have our best interests at heart! This may not always be correct and this is sad and sometimes a hard pill to swallow!
Many can smile and congratulate you face to face but within their feelings are insecure and feel you should not be reaping this amazing harvest of a new bundle of joy! ( Your baby)
I know right? sounds so negative. Throughout my pregnancy and even postpartum I have recieved very bizzare comments filled of negativity , you would think these people have some personal issues or woke up on the other side of the bed!
What we have to understand as mothers, is that many women's insecurities, personal deep hurts and also experiences can be offset and put onto a another woman to also make her feel the same level.
Its important to ensure your mind and mindset is strong to handle external negativity and environment's which may come as a test from different people ! This could also come from your own pregnancy experience or even health care professionals!
Remember you have the final say and have the power over your pregnancy and postpartum period!
You are the one who will wake up and say'' I am okay'' '' It shall be well''.
Change your narrative today!
